Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet today issued the following statement after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) announced that the Colorado School of Public Health, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has been awarded a grant to conduct the El Paso County component of the national study to examine the relationship between exposure to Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), chemicals that have contaminated drinking water sources in Colorado and across the country, and certain health outcomes.
