Bennet, Neguse Have Led the Effort in Washington to Halt the Project without Supplemental Review

Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and U.S. Representative Joe Neguse released the following statement after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit overruled the Surface Transportation Board (STB) approval of the Uinta Basin Railway Project.
Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet joined U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-Del.) and 29 of their Senate colleagues in urging Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael S. Regan to finalize strong and broadly applicable fossil fuel-fired power plant standards that will maximize carbon pollution reductions from all polluting sources as swiftly as possible.

Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, celebrated committee passage of the Modernizing and Ensuring PBM Accountability Act, which includes Bennet’s Prescription Drug Supply Chain Pricing Transparency Act to require the Government Accountability Office to conduct a study that would help lawmakers better understand the complex drug pricing supply chain.
